As part of the water restriction program in Durban the Municipality has installed flow restrictors at the water mater to the property. The result is a drastic drop in water flow to a property. for bigger households it meant that if a shower water tap is opened the water pressure in other parts of the house dropped so low that water merely flowed out at a trickle from the tap.
We installed a system at a big house with multiple flats on the property in Durban North. It is a direct on line system with a 1000l tank mounted on the roof and a multistage booster pressure system connected to the house's water supply. The tank continually tops up via a float valve while the booster pump with a gloabl water solutions pressure tank and powerwave pressure controller maintain the water flow and required pressure to the household
